Upshur County Library's 2022 Summer Reading Program - "Oceans of Possibilities" Begins June 2

BUCKHANNON, WV - Be sure to join the Upshur County Public Library for their 2022 Summer Reading Program - "Oceans of Possibilities" happening from June 2 through July 2.

All ages are eligible to participate in 3 different age groups (Younger Children, Teenagers and Adults).

Beginning June 6, readers can log their reading minutes to earn points towards prize baskets in 3 age levels.

Participants will earn points by logging reading minutes, as well as attending several exciting events that are have planned beyond the usual weekly preschool story time.

Pre-School Story Time:

Join Mrs. Bobbi for Pre-School Story Times on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. It's always a fun and educational experience for the small ones that includes a story to read and a craft to do. It's a great place for parents to meet other parents within the community as well.

Hey, parents! If you didn't already know, the library has invaluable online resources for you and your school-aged children.

From parent resources to help with homework, there's even fun and games (through age 12) available at their online Children's Corner LOCATED HERE.

The Upshur County Public Library is located at 1150 Route 20 South Rd Buckhannon, WV. Hours of operation are:

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 6:30 pm

Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Sunday: Closed
