BUCKHANNON - When Buckhannon City Council arrived at its closing comments and announcements on January 5th, City Recorder & Information Coordinator Randy Sanders issued a Public Service Announcement to address sidewalk safety concerns while S Florida Street continues to have sections of concrete poured.

Sanders encouraged pedestrians to use the finished areas that run parallel to the unfinished walkways for safety reasons, especially during nighttime hours.
