American Legion Hosting Free Program about Travel Claims Procedures on Tuesday, August 2nd

BUCKHANNON - The Frank B. Bartlett American Legion Post 7 will be hosting a program for veterans on Tuesday, August 2nd to assist veterans in using the new travel claims procedures.

The program will begin at 6:00pm.

The VA Travel Office will also provide a presentation about their program, and how they assist veterans in getting to their appointments at the VA Medical Center; While the price of gas has caused new challenges, many of our veterans have had to cancel their medical appointments due to a need for wheelchair access as well as a lack of transportation.

This program is a free service for veterans.
