A Glimpse Inside Home Hardware, c. 1960

Established in 1947 by Herb Stalnaker and Thomas Stockert, Jr, the Home Hardware became more than just a business here in Buckhannon... it was an "institution".

Located at 25 E Main Street, personalized service was the motto of this establishment that provided "Hardware for the Farm and Home" until it closed in 2006.

Revisit us here every Tuesday to see new additions as we continue to build this virtual online pictorial for our community featuring the landmarks, people and relics of Upshur County's bygone days.
