ART26201 to Present B-U Camera Club’s ‘Color My World’ Exhibit in Downtown Buckhannon

BUCKHANNON - ART26201 will present Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club’s “COLOR MY WORLD” exhibition beginning on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the M.I.B. GALLERY in the Colonial Arts Center from 10:00 am through 8:00 pm.


Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club photographers featured in the exhibition will be Charmagne Ayotte, Carol Baxa Meese, Terry Beer Loudin, Karl Boone, Sharon Boone, Victoria Clutter, Kilsong Cox, Kathy Gregg, Gary McCoy, Sandra Miller, Steven Minardi, Anthony Ovies, Dawn Ovies, Bonne Riffle, Dietra Savage, John Simons, Dale Thomas, Al Tucker and Janna Vaught.


“The members of Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club are honored and thrilled to be exhibiting at the gallery. This is a welcoming space that allows us to share our colorful photographs taken both locally and from spots afar,” said Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club member Terry Beer Loudin. “We invite visitors to stop by and spend a few minutes seeing the world through our lens.”


“We’re pleased to host Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club’s exhibition for the second year concurrently with Strawberry Festival,” said ART26201’s Director of Marketing Carrie Perry. “This year’s show features the talents of nineteen local photographers, and we hope you’ll come out to cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award!”


In addition to the opening event on May 19th, the M.I.B. GALLERY will be open from 4-8:00 pm on May 27th and 28th, and June 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th. The gallery will also be open for special extended hours during Strawberry Festival from 10:00 am through 8:00 pm on May 20th and 21st.


All events at the M.I.B. GALLERY are free and open to the public. Significant financial assistance for the Colonial Arts Center Rehabilitation project has been provided by the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History; ART26201; Buckhannon Community Theatre; West Virginia Split Rail; and the FirstEnergy Foundation. —
