The G.O. Young Drug Store - 1914

This rare photograph depicts G.O. Young's storefront in 1914.


"At the Sign of the Mortar and Pestle", individuals would enter West Virginia's largest drug store that occupied five floors with 11,000 square feet.

Inside Thompson's Pharmacy - 1951

Fast forward thirty-seven years to the interior of Thompson's Pharmacy, where this rare photograph depicts Eleanor Edge, Margaret Gray and Sandra McCue browsing cosmetics in 1951.
