BUCKHANNON - Robin Oldaker was a recognized guest representing the Upshur County Relay for Life at the Thursday, July 7th City Council meeting.

Mayor Robbie Skinner proclaimed the month of July in the year 2022 as 'Relay for Life Month' throughout the city of Buckhannon:

Relay for Life will be held at Jawbone Park this Saturday, July 16th from 6:30pm - 10:30pm. There will be lots of activities for everyone. If you plan on coming, wear your walking shoes so you can walk, dance, do a Pizza/Cake Walk or participate in Kick Boxing.

There will also be a Crazy Hat Contest open to everyone! Start preparing that Crazy Hat!

Join us as we celebrate our Survivors and honor those who have gone too soon!
