BUCKHANNON - Hey, Upshur County residents! Brace yourselves for a potentially tumultuous period of atmospheric disturbance. A wind advisory of significance remains in effect from 11:00am this morning to 8:00pm this evening.

Expect Southwest winds with speeds of 20 to 30 mph, accompanied by gusts reaching up to 55 mph.

Be warned that unsecured objects may be displaced by these gusts, with tree limbs likely to be among the first casualties. A few power outages may also ensue. Please exercise extra caution, especially when driving, particularly if you happen to be operating a high-profile vehicle.
