Buckhannon City Police Receiving Complaints Regarding Excessive Speeding on Liggett Addition Road

BUCKHANNON - Area residents along Liggett Addition Road are asking drivers to heed the posted speed limit (25 MPH) spanning between Old Weston Road and Clarksburg Road.

Buckhannon City Police have been monitoring the area after receiving numerous calls from residents expressing their concerns regarding vehicles travelling through at excessive speeds.

Please be advised that the entire stretch of Liggett Addition Road is posted at 25 MPH. It is a residential area a children are often out in their yards playing. Always obey the speed limit and drive safely through our neighborhoods.
