Buckhannon Fire Department is Accepting Donations for Victims of Recent Flooding in Kentucky

Captain Brian Elmore of the Buckhannon Fire Department Addresses City Council on August 2, 2022.
The Buckhannon Fire Department will be accepting donations over the next two weeks in collaboration with the Belfry Volunteer Fire Department in Belfry, Kentucky to help provide desperately needed items for those who were devastated by the recent flooding in Kentucky.
Captain Brian Elmore requested permission from council during their August 3rd meeting to accept and transport the requested donation items to Belfry over the course of the next two weeks.
Bay 6 will be dedicated to accepting an itemized list of the following items:
All items baby (wipes, formula, diapers, food)
Band-aids
Peroxide
Rubbing alcohol
Hand sanitizer
Trash bags
Gloves
Brooms
Mops
Paper towels
Shovels rakes
Squeegees
Anything personal hygiene
Cleaning supplies
