This rare 1949 photo depicts the Buckhannon-Upshur High School Bus Drivers posing in front of an old school bus. No individual names were provided with the photograph, only the year.


Photo 2:

B-UHS Buses Lined Up along College Avenue - 1950

This rare photograph from 1950 depicts an after-school scene along College Avenue in front of the old Buckhannon-Upshur High School building (where Buckhannon Academy Elementary School now stands).


Photo 3:

Observing the Bus Line from inside B-UHS - 1949

This rare photograph depicts the school bus line captured from a level two window inside the old B-UHS building in 1949.

A first-hand account of the Seminary Building fire is included with rare and exclusive photos - including an authentic Wesleyan University of West Virginia (W.V.W.U.) invitation to the June 5th, 1906 Alumni Day when the board of trustees permanently changed the institution's name to West Virginia Wesleyan College (W.V.W.C.) - and an eye-witness account of the fire.
