BUCKHANNON, WV - The City of Buckhannon and Create Buckhannon have collaborated again this year for the Independence Day Celebration at Jawbone Park. The festivities kick off this Friday, July 1st.


Inflatables will be on-site for kids ($10), as well as a rock-climbing wall ($10). Wrist bands may be purchased on site.

The Buckhannon-Upshur Farmer's Market kicks off at 4:00pm at the Jawbone Park pavilions.


Other various vendors will set up at 5:00pm, with live entertainment at the Main Stage (Jawbone Park) and S. Florida Street.

4:00pm - The Buckhannon-Upshur Farmer's Market at the Jawbone Park Pavilions.


5:00pm - The Masons | Main Stage (Jawbone Park) - A husband/wife acoustic rock duo.


6:00pm - All American Twirlers - Stockert Youth & Community Center | S. Florida Street.


6:30pm - Stonestreet | Main Stage (Jawbone Park) - Enjoy top-40 hits from the 70’s through today. Dance the night away!


8:30pm - Elite Rivals | S. Florida Street


9:00pm - Gary Palumbo | Main Stage (Jawbone Park) – Country and Light Rock


According to Mayor Robbie Skinner, the fireworks show will begin at sundown... approximately 8:45-9:00pm.
