Car Crashes into Home on Tallmansville Road in Upshur County

UPSHUR COUNTY - On Monday, December 19th at 7:05am, emergency responders were dispatched to a single vehicle crash. Upon arrival deputies located a vehicle inside a residence, the vehicle was running and the driver unresponsive.

The driver lost control of her 2018 Subaru cross track, ran over a gas meter and over 200 feet through a yard before going airborne and crashing through and coming to a stop inside a residence on Tallmansville Road in Upshur County. The driver was the only occupant and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

A medical condition is suspected as the cause of the crash. No one was home at the time of the incident. Upshur County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Coffman investigated the crash, assisted by Deputy Forte. Buckhannon Fire Department and Upshur County EMS also assisted.
