B-U Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Provides Leadership Upshur Update to City Council

Tammy Reger, Executive Director of the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce addresses City Council during the November 3rd meeting.

BUCKHANNON - During the November 3rd City Council meeting, Tammy Reger, Executive Director of the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce provided Council with an 'impromptu' update regarding Leadership Upshur.

Reger shared experiences of the session that she and Laura Meadows had hosted earlier that day entitled, "History and Culture", and shared the group's experiences, including a leadership panel and tour of the Colonial Art Center, a scavenger hunt, a Create Buckhannon meeting, a visit to Ron Hinkle Glass and an Opera House visit to hear Senator Bill Hamilton speak about his leadership roles.

Leadership Upshur convenes the first Thursday of each month and will meet with Buckhannon Mayor Robbie Skinner and Upshur County Commission President Kristie Tenney for their upcoming session on December 1st.
