BUCKHANNON - Head down to North Kanawha Street to the Baxa Hotel tomorrow, December 10th, and enjoy an evening with The Grinch and Santa Claus.

The festivities will begin at 6:00pm when Mayor Robbie Skinner declares the opening of Whoville.

Many free activities will be going on, such as a viewing of How The Grinch stole Christmas, where warm drinks and popcorn will be provided.

Kids will receive a free stocking and move through Who-ville, where they will receive items along the way and traverse through over 100 trees decorated with various items.

At the end of their Who-ville journey, kids can participate in a cupcake walk and receive a treat from Sweet-A-Licious, all for free.

Vendors will be set up on North Kanawha Street as it will be closed to Main Street to Senior Citizen Drive.

They hope you will dress warmly and come out tomorrow beginning at 6:00pm. The event is sponsored by the Baxa Hotel and The Buckhannon Upshur Retail Merchant Association.
