FAA Releases Information on Saturday's Airplane Crash in Buckhannon

BUCKHANNON - On Saturday, February 18th at approximately 6:30pm, multiple emergency response units responded on the scene of a downed aircraft in the vicinity of Hall Road and Industrial Park Road.


The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has released information stating that the aircraft involved in the crash was inbound from Pittsburgh.


The aircraft, a Cessna 210A was last reported in the air at approximately 5:31pm in Harrison County near Clarksburg and was registered to Coma Aviation of Buckhannon.


The cause of the crash has yet to be determined as investigative agencies compile data. The pilot was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after the plane went down just short of the runway.
