Join local attorney Kyle Nuttall to discuss modern estate planning this Saturday, February 25th at the Upshur County Public Library. The workshop begins at 11:00am.

Mr. Nuttall will explain why the old way of estate planning simply doesn't work for most people. Our laws, complex society, and personal desire for privacy require a new way of thinking about estate planning.

Who benefits from estate planning? Everyone:

  • Young adults just starting off college or other further education can benefit from setting up power of attorney.

  • Young families can find peace of mind by working through the process of figuring out guardianship and creating trusts for minor children.

  • Business owners can take steps to ensure their business remains under control of the right people by setting up a succession plan.

  • Retired couples can plan for the next generation using trusts, wills, and end of life planning.

The list goes on...

This free workshop will cover estate planning tools such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, guardianships, beneficiary designations and more. If you're not sure how to get started with your estate plan, or if you have an established estate plan that is more than a few years old, this workshop is for you.

The Upshur County Library is located at 1150 Route 20 South Road in Buckhannon.
