Maude Bailey Reitz Jewelry and Engraving - 1911

This extremely rare photograph depicts the interior of Maude Bailey Reitz's Jewelry and Engraving.

In addition to jewelry and repair services, patrons were offered a wide selection of white china pieces, class pins, college seals and shields, souvenir spoons, stencils and art supplies. Any piece of jewelry purchased in the store was engraved for free.

Maude Bailey Reitz and her husband, Lewis Philip Reitz resided in Buckhannon District, Upshur County. She passed away on January 30, 1949 (67 years of age).

Inside the Horace R. Clark Studios - 1910

Editor's Note: The Horace R. Clark logo was overlaid on today's photograph containing a portrait of Mr. Clark.

This rare image captured in 1910 depicts an interior view of Mr. Clark's studio, which was located on the ground floor at 59 West Main Street. Post cards, framing and photographic enlargements were additional services he provided.

Horace R. Clark passed away on February 21, 1962 at the age of eighty-five.
