BUKCHANNON - The Lewis-Upshur Animal Control Facility is offering extended hours this Thursday, January 5, 2023 until 5:00pm given the critically high number of animals in their care; normal closing hours are 2:30pm weekdays.

Due to the overcrowdedness, one fur baby is in danger of losing his life. Buster Brown is a loving canine who has been at the facility since early November, 2022...

He'll be euthanized if he's not adopted soon.

Luv 4 Animals will sponsor his vetting for anyone committing to him. The stress levels he's experiencing is escalating due to overcrowding. The only known issue he has is being around other dogs. We spent some time with him earlier today... he'd be the perfect companion for anyone in a single-dog dwelling.

Meet Buster Brown:

If you've ever considered adopting, fostering, donating or volunteering, please visit the Lewis-Upshur Animal Control Facility's WEBSITE or in-person at 318 Mud Lick road in Buckhannon. You can also potentially save a fur baby's life by simply sharing this information.

Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday 10:00am - 2:30pm, and Saturday's from 10:00am - 2:00pm. You may also schedule an appointment during after business hours.
