Jerry Arnold, Director of Public Works announces the Make It Shine Event during the August 2, 2022 City Council meeting.

BUCKHANNON - Bring your junk! Clean up your yards! The city is footing your waste bill for up to two truckloads of waste during the Make It Shine Event on Saturday, August 13th and Saturday, August 20th from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

The free event excludes tires and freon-containing appliances.

This is for subscribing waste collection customers only (customers within the city or county who have an official trash receptacle and pay a monthly waste collection bill to the City of Buckhannon).

Up to two (2) total truckloads are allowed per customer for the entirety of the event.
