BUCKHANNON, WV - The Lewis-Upshur Animal Control Facility hosted an Open House yesterday at their Mud Lick Road location. The special event gave the community an opportunity to learn more about the adoption processes and how to become a volunteer.

Given that the facility is currently at FULL capacity, we here at Mountaineer News are going to be featuring a new fur baby each day this week.

We begin with Rufus, who is such a sweet boy and desperately needs a forever home.

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 2:30 pm

Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
