Pets of the Week

BUCKHANNON, WV - As promised, we're committed to bringing you fur babies who are in desperate need of a loyal companion and a loving home.

PAWndering Pets is now featuring Pets of the Week on Mountaineer News, where we will bring you fur babies in need of adoption from our local animal control facility each and every week.

This area of our website will be updated on Saturday mornings, so be sure to check back frequently for updates and new faces.

On Sunday, June 26th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, please join us as we visit the LUAC for their Open House Event at 318 Mud Lick Road in Buckhannon.

This special event will allow the community to learn more about the adoption processes, how to become a volunteer (notary on site), and have an opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. Refreshments will be provided.

The adoption fee for cats is $60 and $70 for dogs. If the animal has already been spayed/neutered or is sponsored for the procedure, the adoption fee for cats is $15 and $30 for dogs. We look forward to seeing you there.
