BUCKHANNON - The city celebrated the official opening of the Christmas season yesterday evening with the annual “Buckhannon Christmas Parade".

People gathered along the parade route to watch the B-UHS Marching Band, a wide variety of floats, dance/fire twirling routines and much more! The route proceeded north down Madison Street then east onto Main Street where families visited Santa at the Buckhannon Fire Department afterward.

Our "Picture This" moment for the week is Santa Clause making an appearance on the back of a fire truck.
