Yep, you heard that right - now you'll only need to get your ride checked out every two years instead of every year. That's less time spent in the inspection line and more time hitting the open road! A quick side note: The change in the state's vehicle inspection process includes an increase in the inspection fee from $14 to $19. While this may seem like a price hike, this move is expected to save drivers money in the long run.
The new legislation is set to go into effect on January 1, 2024.
