ALTOONA, Pa. — Western Governors University and Sheetz are partnering to increase its annual tuition reimbursement for employees, now offering $5,250 per year per employee.

“WGU is proud to work alongside Sheetz as we believe our competency-based online learning model can help its employees achieve their learning goals and take the next step in their careers,” said Alison Bell, regional vice president of WGU in a press release. “Skilling-up our adult learners is a vital step in ensuring our workforce is ready to fill much-needed roles in a wide variety of sectors and industries facing shortages. This partnership is one way we can reach this vital demographic of workers through WGU’s key access points: cost, flexibility, and place and time.”
