BUCKHANNON - Several firefighters from the Ellamore, Washington District, Warren District, Buckhannon, Adrian and Selbyville Fire Departments, Upshur County EMS and Santa Claus himself were at the Buckhannon Walmart this past week for the 6th annual Upshur County Shop with a Firefighter.

Per the event's Facebook page:

..." there were a total of 115 kids taken and a total of $17,686.78 spent. There were kids from every Upshur County School. Thank you to the school personnel who helped with recommendations of children that could benefit from this program.

Thank you to everyone who supports this program that allows us to do what we do. Thank you to all the fire departments, EMS personnel and 911 employees that participated this year. Looking forward to everyone working together in "23" to make this program bigger and better."
