BUCKHANNON - Upshur County Schools wishes to congratulate and welcome Principal Eric Brand to Union Elementary School!
"Hello, Upshur County! I am excited to move into the position as the Principal at Union Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. I have spent my last three years in Upshur County as the Assistant Principal at Buckhannon Academy Elementary. I am a graduate of Fairmont State University receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a graduate of American Military University where I accomplished a Master's Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I have spent several years as an Elementary Music Specialist and a Kindergarten teacher before moving into administration. When I'm not in school, I love spending time with my family and my black lab, Rosco. I can't wait to meet my new Union family!
