HODGESVILLE - Upshur County Schools wishes to congratulate and welcome Lauren Celender to Hodgesville Elementary School!

"Hello!

I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Lauren Celender, and I am going to be the third grade teacher at Hodgesville Elementary School. I am super excited to begin this journey in my career and life.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I moved down to West Virginia and taught third grade for six years at Belington Elementary. While teaching I earned my Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

Last year, I taught in Pennsylvania. My position allowed me to gain experience in a variety of classrooms and specialty areas from Pre-K through Fifth grade. I look forward to beginning this next chapter in my life and I am grateful that I will be beginning this chapter in third grade at Hodgesville Elementary."
