Upshur County Schools Will Begin School Specific Active Shooter Response Training Sept 23rd- Nov 7th

UPSHUR COUNTY - Upshur County Schools will soon be holding school specific training for active shooter response for all nine of its county schools. Staff are expected to attend the training session, but officials said students will not attend school on the exercise day for their respective school. Officials said the training is part of the ongoing effort to support the safety of the students and staff. The following are the scheduled dates for training:

September 23, 2022 : Buckhannon-Academy Elementary School

September 30, 2022: Tennerton Elementary School

October 3, 2022: French Creek Elementary School

October 10, 2022: Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School

October 13, 2022: Rock Cave Elementary School

October 17, 2022: Buckhannon-Upshur High School

October 28, 2022: Hodgesville Elementary School

November 4, 2022: Washington District Elementary School

November 7, 2022: Union Elementary School
