BUCKHANNON, WV - Today we honor military members who have died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

This Memorial Day, we're bringing the Walk of Valor banners to you virtually.

The annual event is made possible by Create Buckhannon, where volunteers hang the banners beneath the pavilions at Jawbone Park to honor those who have served. The banners are usually displayed from Memorial Day through Veteran's Day.

Our profuse thanks to Create Buckhannon for making our annual Walk of Valor banner display possible. If you would like more information on how to volunteer or purchase a banner for the 2023 season, please contact them at their Facebook page HERE.

Editors' Note: Given the plethora of variables presented during capturing these images (UV and otherwise), we'll be placing an inquiry with Connect Buckhannon at the end of this season; We'd like to have professional photographs taken of each banner (on a flat surface) to showcase each one in their entirety (and without obstructions) online.

Therefore, these images will remain temporary until other images have been procured.
