1922 BHS Football Team
The first is an extremely rare image depicting the 1922 Buckhannon High School Football team under Coach John Rohrbough. Photo was taken in front of the old high school shortly before construction of the gymnasium.

Buckhannon High School - College Avenue, Buckhannon
The second is a rare image depicting Buckhannon High School in 1919. The first high school was built on East Main Street in 1881 and remained there until the construction of the College Avenue facility in 1909. Academy Elementary School is now located where this building once stood.

A first-hand account of the Seminary Building fire is included with rare and exclusive photos - including an authentic Wesleyan University of West Virginia (W.V.W.U.) invitation to the June 5th, 1906 Alumni Day when the board of trustees permanently changed the institution's name to West Virginia Wesleyan College (W.V.W.C.) - and an eye-witness account of the fire.
